Attendance at one Chaplain Retreat is mandatory to successfully complete 1 or 2 units with SLCET and attendance at 2 retreats is mandatory for successfully completing 3 or 4 Units with SLCET. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR RETREATS WILL BE IN-PERSON STARTING IN SPRING 2023.

2023 Fall Chaplain Retreat: November 3 - 5, 2023

Please join us for a relaxing, contemplative and learning experience. Chaplains and Chaplain Interns will gather in a beautiful setting to share, learn, engage in spiritual practice and be loved up!

Whether you are in your CPE Internship or working in the field or between "expressions" of your ministry we want you to join us. As a chaplain you provide support that empowers others. The Ministry of Presence can be daunting and overwhelming. To support your longevity and well-being, retreating is important. Come join peers and colleagues in this dynamic retreat experience online.

Commune with your peers and share, relax and learn. Give and get support to and from those that really "get" you. We will focus on self-care, self-awareness and utilizing peer support.

  • Didactic seminar

  • Workshops

  • Case Study Presentations

Retreat Schedule (All times listed are Mountain Time):

Friday, November 3, 2023: Retreat begins promptly at 4 PM. Please arrive at the cabins to check-in at 3PM.

Saturday, November 4, 2023: 7:00AM - 6PM

Sunday, November 5, 2023: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Please plan to attend the entire retreat. Partial attendance does not count for your retreat requirement. Plan not to leave the retreat before it’s completion at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
